I want this to go to
I see no way of getting it there .
I finally got it there . This I got Singer sewing sewing machine from my neighbor for $25 . It had been in a wet basement and it was just a pile . I had to replace the bottom peices ,the top ,as well as the lid that covers the machine. I replaced two drawer ends both knee doors , the belt entry doorall with new walnut.
The small chest of drawers is for a sewing chest with castors wheels . It is made of Maulberry which darkens with age and sycamore for the drawer sides . I wanted to have the dovetails to show. Gene

Magnificent craftsmanship. I assume the Singer still sings :-))

Very cool.. I recently bought an antique Singer at an auction for $5.00
I have never “restored” anything before, so this will be my first.. I will be very happy if it turns out half as nice as yours.

Great job..

Both look gorgeous! Like the beautiful choice of wood and the great build. They will surely stay for another hundred years more.

Have your say...
