My new project of White Tail Deer Antler, Teak Wood & Ebony Wood 24 kt Gold Tycoon Fountain Pen. It took a little work to get the ends of the antler square enough to glue, but turned out ok in the end.

Any tips or comments on working with the antler? I am curious. The pen looks great!

Getting a fairly square edge out of the generally curved antler, takes quite a bit of time. I just eyeball it on the disc sander. I think leaving enough excess length to work with is a key.

Great looking pen! Like the combination of colors with the beautiful kit.
Have your say...
