My first time posting, Hi to one and all, I have been an avid reader since December 2012. I started working (playing) with wood on the 28/11/12, after buying some wood working machines. It has always been a desire to do wood working. I decided to try, and i am loving it. I have a mini lathe , a band saw, a scroll saw, table saw, well I bought everything i needed.
The 1st Box is my attempt at a mitre box, the wood is JapCedar. Is a salt box for my wife.
The 2nd is a band saw box. Plain old SA Pine.
The 3rd is a turned bowl. Yellow wood, Lovely to work with.
The 4th is my version of a Bird Box seen on Lumber Jock, Thank you original maker. The chimney is burned with a mini blow torch. It will not be used as a bird box, but as a “hide things away box” The chimney and a few strips of wood are removable.
The 5th are candle stick holders. Wood unknown.
The 6th my attempt at scroll sawing. No an easy thing to do. I nearly gave up, I broke 15 pin blades. Then I bought some pinless blades (240), I have not looked back OR broken one yet .Getting better every day, and loving it.
Thanks for all projects posted, you guys are skillful.
