Hi All, Been a while. Haven’t had a lot of shop time lately. This is something thats been on the bench for a while but, Im happy to say I’m finally satisfied with it. It started with a zebra wood / bubinga glue up and I decided to stray from dovetails and try some ney joints. The sides have single mortise and tennon joints while the front and back have a pair of m. & t. joints into each leg. The legs and handle accents are ebony. The handle and rear accent are the left over cut outs from the legs. The last piece of the glue-up became the lid with the addition of two slabs of lace. I have left the interior up to the customers discretion.

Thanks for your time.
Happy Woodworking!

Rob – truly outstanding!! If you don’t mind sharing, what finish did you use and how did you apply it?
