Project Information

Here are a couple new designs I've made for people. I really like the way the zebra wood looks with an angle cut. I used Bubinga, Birdseye Maple, Wenge, Purple Heart, Red Oak, and Zebra Wood on these nets.

I posted a picture of the guide net in an earlier project. I think that net was made specifically for that fish. That's a big fish!

-Cheers

Very nicely done-some really beautiful handles. Just reminds me I need to whittle down that "bucket list" so I can make at least one.

Great catch in fifth phot! Did I miss that the first time around or did you sneak that in after I commented? If it's the former, I'm sure getting older than I thought. On the other hand, if it's the latter, nice addition even if you are bragging. ;-) (Actually, I'm just jealous because I don't have any catch to compare with that beauty.)

HBS- It was up the whole time.

Not my catch. The guy I made the net for caught the fish.

Great looking net! I have been trolling LJ for years now, but when I saw Peaks photo, I had to sign up and post.

The first time I fished with peak was at 11 mile canyon a couple years ago, and he got skunked fishing with a spin rod. I fished with a couple months ago, and he outfished me on the flyrod.

I was buying online, but now I get them through my local fly shop.
