Clock I just made out of a scrap piece of birsdeye that was too nice just throw away but had some defects/ beauty to it.finished with a couple of coats of bush oil then some Polly. I am loving the bush oil lately. Thanks for looking what should I have done differently? Looking for some honest and painfull if needed feedback on projects.

Don’t see why you should have done anything different. Looks good to me

beautiful piece of wood! there’s an assymetrical beauty in it. if i were to have done anything different, it has nothing to do with the wood or the shape to it…i might find it difficult to read the time from a distance due to the similarity of the color of wood and the brass hands that are used. nice timepiece.

I agree with smoke, the hands should be black or dark brown but over all, the clock looks good with that beautiful birdseye. Makes a great accent for the home.
