This crib is for our first babby. the wood was from a trade for a old motorcycle that was free and the hardware was off a old crib a guy at work gave me so, so the cost to me was labbor. Gotta love that. but i think it turned out real good. I have started the changing table and i have to make my cradle so back to work.

Congratulations on your new arrival! I would say your new baby is going to keep Dad busy in the shop making all kinds of things like maybe some nice woodend toys
The crib looks well crafted and beautiful. And I’m sure your changing table will look just a nice. Great job on the finish also!

Very beautiful and well thought out design. The wood is stunning. The finish looks spectacular. All those elements done excellently in a single project! Go figure?

Great work, and it’ll hold up so much better than the overpriced store bought variety.
I have 2 and 4 year old boys. I would caution you to be very careful as your young ‘un nears crawling and climbing age. Those slightly slanting sides look quite nice, but, your offspring may do just that—- spring, off of the top rung, using that slight climbing advantage. Keep an eye on ‘em.
Good job.

Really nice work!

I am building a cradle for my new granddaughter that is due the first of may. This caught my eye when browsing projects.

Congrast and good luck with your new baby.
