I have taken my pen turning to the next level I cut a walnut dowel into spirals and then cast Alumilite resin around it to fill in the voids. It looks great and I plan to make other pens that mix different material types. watch the YouTube vids to see how I did it.

This is a neat idea, has a very unique look to it when finished. I look forward to seeing more of such creations.
