Cherry Stump Table

Stump table I made. About 23” tall and 14” in diameter. Stained cherry log is from the cherry tree that fell across the driveway a couple years ago. Hairpin legs from an Etsy seller.

Sat for probably a year in log form and then another year cut from the log in my basement. Debarked it all then cleaned it up with a wire brush on the end of the drill. Sanded smooth and stained to make it a little more red/mahogany colored. Sealed with 4 coats of Deft Semi Gloss Lacquer on the sides, 6 or 7 on the top and couple on the bottom.

Looks good and interesting. Great salvage of the wood.
