First board is Walnut bordered with Maple with Maple diamonds second board is Mahogany bordered with Butternut with Maple diamonds. The Black Walnut I purchased this time was steamed so the sap wood gave this board a pretty unique look. Sorry about the mahogany picture this board does not look this light. It is a lot darker and the butternut really looks nice. The board is already gone so I can’t obtain a better picture

Beautiful. How did you do the diamonds?

Good looking walnut board.
With a little massaging in PSE

And the second board, more like this?

Not trying to be presumptuous, just showing how easy it is with auto-retouch to make wood pictures come to life again.

Nice design and attention to the wood.
The diamonds are a nice touch too.

Like them both. Beautiful designs and patterns on the cutting board specially the diamonds which added a nice contrast.
Have your say...
