I made these of a combination of maple and birch I had left over and decided to try a mixture of wood and came out ok

Beutiful. I love how you have tied your turned legs together witha turned cross piece.

Those are some Great looking tables! It must have been pretty tough to get the spreaders to fit perfectly on the legs.
