I did way more than this, but can’t seem to find any of the other pictures…

The first is cherry, walnut and maple. The second is walnut and maple. I want to give credit for the second design, but I cannot remember where in the world I saw it at. I believe it was in a magazine, but agan, I don’t remember which one. If I remember, I will edit.

You are way ahead of the game to be thinking about Christmas already, I commend you. Nice boards.

Hahaha, guess I should clarify…this is Christmas 2012! I am actually WAY behind. I have been doing plenty of stuff since this, just now thinking/remembering to post it.

Beautiful cutting boards.I believe the second design is from the Wood Whisperer. He made a tutorial where he then cut up this design and turned it into a more intricate end grain board.I think the design is beautiful as you have it.I’ve been looking at all the boards I can find, because I want to try one for my next project.Do you mind sharing the dimensions?Great job, you must have made many people very happy at Xmas!

Thank you Woodgirl. The size is approximately 12” x 18” and 1.25” thick. I believe everyone liked what they got =)

They both look good and well made. Like the mix of woods and the finish. Great gift ideas too!

Have your say...
