I made 3 different bowls on the wood lathe. I have a cherry, walnut,cherry ,walnut ( pancake)
A Cherry, Walnut segmented bowl, with some curly maple squashed in between.
And a 1/2 segmented cherry,walnut with some large walnut pancaked inbetween.

On all 3 bowls, I used Boiled linseed oil, 3 coats. Brush on , then wipe off.
Then I used 2 coats of Bush oil.
Then johnsons pase wax…to make everyone go OOOooo and AAAHhhhh

Seriously though, great bowls. My personal favourite is pic 5.
