I made this from the “Jake’s Chair” plans that are availible for free online. I want to make a set of adirondacks but I wasn’t sure about the style, so this is a pine prototype. It’s a good chair but a little larger than I need. I think I’ll keep my eye out for a more suitable plan before I make a new set.

Looks like a great project. I am sure you could modify the plan to suit yourself better.

Rob – try the Wood Plans available at Woodcraft. I did a blog (http://lumberjocks.com/jocks/Betsy/blog/2635) about making a chair with those plans. From looking at the picture of your chair, I think the Wood Plan would be smaller. It used to be that if you got these plans you also got the plans for the footstool and table. Now, however, they make you buy the plans for the chair and a separate plan for the footstool and table, but the plans are worth the price. It’s a good chair.
Great looking chair by the way.!
