My wife wanted a couple of coat trees, one for our room and one for the guest room. The shafts are pine, the hooks and feet cut from poplar and hand-shaped. The hooks are mounted with two 3/8” dowels for each hook, the feet are screwed and glued with the holes filled before finishing.
I thought they looked good natural, but they look good even covered in the requested white paint.

Like the hand shaped hooks and feet. Well made and functional and matches the room. Great job!

My wife tends to overload any hook mounted anywhere. I’m glad to report that she has not yet managed to overload the hooks on these trees, even when the tree is hidden completely under a mound of stuff, and one includes her (not insubstantial) purse. :D
