Here is an initial draft of the TV cabinet I am constructing prior to final build out of black walnut, this cabinet will hold a small tv for the guest bedroom. The work is in progress and whats left to construct is the wood hinges for the doors and knobs for the pulls. I will post again when I have arrived at final completion. This cabinet is made from tulip poplar and the entire assembly is morise and tenon with oak draw bore pegs (new method I am trying), the whole piece including the frame and panels were cut on the tablesaw with the exception of the beaded moulding. The doors are frame and veneered panels (mappa burl). The top is made of figured ash and walnut strips. The picture is a burning from the local hobby shop I picked up on clearence.

This looks pretty good to me. The inlays and picture add nice details to the piece that give it visual interest.
I am going to enjoy seeing the final product.
