This cutting board is has cherry runner sides with a curly maple and walnut surface with thin paduak accent strips. The arched cherry sides are both decorative and functional, as they provide a softening of the squared edges and raise the main cutting surface off the countertop for improved air circulation. Although the picture does not clearly show the ends, they are beveled around 12 degrees for added visual interest. The board is finished with mineral oil and beeswax.

Awesome cutting board! Like the beautiful mix of timber and the interesting design with the arch sides.
