Steve,
Ultra nice work. Noticed the inlay, or run in the middle of each piece. I think I know how you did that, but not truly sure. I think I could bandsaw the main plank down the middle, meandering as you did, and put in a soaked piece in the middle and clamp the heck out of it, and get what you got, but something tells me you did something different.
In any case, super nice piece, especially with the location, local woods, etc.

Steve,, Welcome to Lumber Jocks, you will like it here. I admire anything made with the "live edge". Your 3 projects are no exception they are all great. Have you tried Root River Hardwoods Albert Lea, & Preston MN?? check them out I think they can make whatever you want. Also keep posting, but more pictures please :)........................Jack, in southern MN

Nice piece, you show off that walnut very well.
I wish I had a checkbook like yours for a diversion … I can think of some really cool diversions … :)

Beautiful table-I love live edge! Looks like it's in a museum or art gallery; if so, congratulations!

Wonderful stuff Steve, feel free to post more pictures, we really like them! I hope you got the message I sent you
about the walnut.

Tell me about that river, I spent my fair share of sand bagging there in '09!

Thanks Grant…....I did get your email. I've been in contact with Erwin for some time now. Just not enough stock with high enough figure. I appreciate it though.
