Still slowly trying to find functional storage and organization in my shop. I took the idea from another lumber cart from this site and decided that i make enough ply wood scrap that i’ll just dedicate this whole cart to just ply wood.
Right now i have 4 swivel wheels to move it. For the face of the cart i just used some hand picked pine firing strips. I started the first strip about an inch above the floor of the cart so i can blow or sweep out any dirt or dust that will eventually make it’s way into the cart. I used one of my broken hockey sticks for the handle. I just had it laying around so i figured i’d use it, but those sticks are made to flex and trying to move that car with it might be just too much pressure. I may build some kind of hinge for it to connect to the wall, as it currently kind of scrapes up against the wall when i pull it away.
My next project is going to be building a miter saw/radial arm saw bench. With that I’ll make some under storage for scrap for my solid wood pieces.
If anyone needs measurements or anything let me know.
