I recently made desks for my wife and I.
My wife’s is pretty simple. The base is from an old sewing machine and I removed everything but sides and back. The top is the side from an old entertainment center that I refinished and then attached.
Mine is simple construction and made from cedar, fir, pine, and oak. Finished with several coats of satin poly.
Both were made from all repurposed materials.

What a great way to preserve history… My kids need desks and this just might be the ticket.

Great recycle of used wood and turned them into beautiful and sturdy tables.
