Project Information
This is a small, but really usefull workbench. Its made to be used as a benchtop bench, or as a small workbench on the site or arround the house. For transportation it can be carried around with one of the two handles or placed on a systainer tower.
For the dimensions see the pictures (~ 500×400 mm). Placed on a Workbench, there is enough room for a systainer 1 underneath.
On its front is a moxxon style vise with aluminum wheels (100 mm diameter) and two M12 threaded rods.
The top has some 20mm holes, every 96mm, like Festools MFT. I made some benchdogs out of 20mm dowel rod and some rubber caps. They work with the frontvise for clamping flat pieces. You can also clamp things with the festool clamps, ofcourse ;-)
edit: There are two V shaped grooves in the vise (one horizontal and one vertical) to clamp round pieces.
Thanks for reading.
