This is my latest live edge walnut console. I can’t keep them in the gallery for more than a few days before they are gone. I am desperately looking for live edge 6/4 walnut for more of my designs. Every supplier I seek out only carries it around 12/4 and doesn’t have a horizontal band saw to slice into 6/4. Very frustrating. I’d appreciate any help I can get.

Love your work. If I lived anywhere close to you I would cut it whatever depth you like. Nobody likes the little jobs.

Great looking table
My suppliers just closed doors so I was on the hunt.
I got a hold of the agent for Woodmizer and they gave me a list of owners
It is amazing how many farmers mill their timber
I’m in Scotland though, cant see why they wouldn’t be able to help your side.

Hey Bob!! The legs on the Enterprise are slid onto a tongue and groove. Had a lot of people ask me about that. It’s a bit laborious but using jigs and templates I can pull it off. Great fun!!

I’ve been hearing quite a bit on North Dakota down here in Southern MN. Is that influencing your business? Have you checked with treeremoval companies? the other source Might be idividuals who have portable mills? Bob Kloe “Big Bob” is a woodworker with a mill. Has provided wood for Charles Neil’s projects. Charles promotes BOB because of high quality material.
Good Luck.
