This table is 48” x 96” and solid cypress. The finish is hard lacquer. It seats 10 people.

Nice job on making such a large glued up panel. Your cypress has nice grain.

Nice looking table. Beautiful grain.

Shazam!, sweet table. How did you flatten the top after glue-up? Did you turn the legs? Looks very nice.

Thanks for all the nice comments.
I love the cypress wood. It is almost the only wood I use. I have gotten many good comments when people see it.

I glued up the top in three sections so I could run through my 18” drum sander. After that I had to finish sanding by belt and ROS sanders. It did take a while.
I turned the legs from cypress 4×4s. It was tedious to get them uniform since I don’t have a duplicator.

I like this one! How long did you make this? That’s really pretty and flawless. Fantastic!

It took me about a month, on and off, not fulltime, to build the table.

Great looking table! Like the legs and the amazing grain on the cypress. Great job!
