I was just sitting here listening to bluegrass, smoking some ribs, and wrestling with my warped board problem. Thanks to all that were helping me with my problem. I had made these recently since the weather has gotten a bit more cooperative. These are made from Walnut and Myrtle. I tried to matchbook the pieces, i think they came out ok. I haven’t made a lot of boards so kind of feeling out my niche.

Thanks, to all that have posted project and blogs teaching and inspiring other into building boards or other creations.

Thanks for looking and to all, I hope you get inspired as I have from this site. Have a great day.

I always like it when you capture the beauty of the wood in a project. Great job.

Monte,
I do love the Myrtle wood, it has such a bold color contest. Thank you for your comments.

Thanks Dan, it took awhile to find the Myrtle but well worth it.
