A pair of doors i did from a photograph the customer gave me. Size is approx 66” wide x 81” tall. All Cypress material with 1/4” laminated safety glass. I may end up helping with the locksets and threshold, but thank goodness i don’t have to put a finish on them!

Fantastic! I want to know how to join curved mullions like those. You are really doing advanced work. Where in Alabama are you Miles? I am in Livingston near Tuscaloosa.

Wow. I’d hang those on my house in a heartbeat if they didn’t outclass the rest of the house. Excellent work.

Miles 125, those are a pair of outstanding doors. I love to work with cypress and it lasts very well in the exterior. Those are some crazy moldings there. I hope you are proud of your work because I would be. Made and hung a door or two in my day but never as cool as yours. I hope to see them installed and finished with locksets and stuff. A picture would do nicely. Thanks for the post.

Thanks guys…Stanley i’m not sure what finish he’ll end up using. The doors are going in an overhang area pretty well protected from the elements though.

Roz i’m in Smiths Station. Just across the Chatahoochee River from Columbus Ga. Everybody over in Georgia moves here for the lower taxes. Only drawback being if your house catches on fire a kid in a Camaro comes to put it out…Lol

Miles,

These are simply beautiful. They will add a great deal of curb appeal to the house when they are finished and installed.

Thanks for the post.
