This was a little Christmas project that I finished last November. I guy brought me a chunk of glass and asked if I could build a table out of it. I said “Why sure!” I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it and give it a shot. The glass came out of an exterior decorative door. The glass was perfect for a project like this. It was already laminated with tempered glass on both sides of the decorative center. The wood I used was also rather unique. I was given several wide boards about 6 years ago. They were supposed to be all walnut but when I planed one of them down I found the most beautiful curly cherry pop out at me. I decided to save that board for a special project one day. Well I finally found the perfect project. The guy was so tickled when he saw the finished product that he now wants end tables to match.
