I have these small files I use to remove burs and such from pen tubes and the occassioanl oops fix when making a pen. The problem is the handle is all of 1 1/2” long aso you have to grab the abrasive part of the file. Having had pins put into my arm after an attack in Iraq the wrist does not like to be bent in odd positions. To work past these obstacles I finally got around to making some decent handles long enough to work with. Wood was made from scraps Bearpaw brought so special mention to him for his support over the years in both supplies and inspiration. This was my first attempt at handles, much was learned but they came out well enough to use. Any suggestions for future versions are most welcome. Enjoy and be inspired.

Even had time to clean up the shop and put away all that wood you sent my way. Now I can get down to business and make stuff with it.

Nice looking handles.I’ll have to make some for my small files.
And if I haven’t said it before, thank you for your service.

Beautiful handles! Love the wood colors. You made the useful files attractive and handy.

Thanks, I would have put more detail and curves in them but my right wrist has pins in it that limit movement some. To use them I require mostly flat handles to overcome this minor obstacle. :)
