I made this rocking chair back in 2004, based on plans from Wood Magazine (I think). The plan was aimed more at the beginner, as the through tenons are fake, and the rockers are bent lamination.

I made the same Rocker (here), but I changed the plans to make through tenons instead of the fake ones. It’s a great design and yours turned out beautifully.

I have been looking for the right style rocking chair for my the 7 piece bedroom set I am building. I have now found it thanks to you!
Great, great, great looking chair. I love the style, color, and leather upholstery.

I notice Woodsmith magazine advocates false tenons too. I think it is actually easier to cut a through tenon, rather than a faux tenon.
Great work! It’s going to my favorites list.
