Just got it done. The little wife wanted a corner cabinet in the bathroom that matched our cedar wainscoting. I originally was going to do something different but after posting my idea in the forums and receiving some great feedback from you guys why I’m a total moron for my original idea I changed it. Just kidding. my orinal idea wouldnt have worked and i sincerley appreciate all that advice. This was an exercise in triangles and miter cuts. I don’t have a compound miter saw so I did a quick and dirty jig on my table saw to cut them. I also used ye olde five dollar miter box I got when doing the trim in my house. I wanted the contrasting styles of the two woods so I had the internal dovetails (not sure if that’s the name) for a difference inside. I finished it with four coats of Danish oil. Hope ya like it.

Nice work, interesting how you managed to work around not having a compound miter saw. Asking advice from this diverse group of woodbutchers was another step in the right direction. Actually doing the project and posting it for them to see = priceless.

I really like this. You produced a wonderful yin-yang effect with your use of the contrasting woods.

Great design on the corner cabinet and a beautiful addition to a bathroom. Like the contrasting woods and the dovetails.
