Mission Style Candle Holder.

Something I’ve been working on for a bit, believe it or not. I knew the look I was shooting for…carrying it out technically proved a bit hard. I had to go to my mentor for help cutting the four-sided taper. All cherry. I put a 1” copper sleeve in the actual candle holding portion for a touch of safety (as much as candles CAN be safe). Anyway, I’m very pleased with it. About 8” tall, with a 6” candle. Simple finish – sanding sealer and wax.

Nice lines. Nice design. Great project… that will keep me up nights trying to figure it out. ;-)

Very nice design and work on this candleholder. In case you are not aware of it, there are safety candles available that are designed to burn out at a given height.

One classy candle holder. Like the design, smooth and clean lines on beautiful wood and finish. Well done!
