Very nice in it’s simplicity. Even though that is only to say it’s design, not it’s construction. The construction is very well done.

Beautiful wood. Is this air-dried, with an oil finish, or oil/varnish blend?

The wood was an 8/4 plank that I bought from McBeath Hardwoods in Berkeley, California. I believe that this material was air dried. The finish is polyurethane/mineral spirits wiped on. Nothing fancy.

That is a great looking table. Thanks for posting it.

Yes, air-dried walnut has an amazing color! So was the cabinet you posted recently as well, right? Great job! Thanks for sharing

Millo,

Yes, the cabinet material was cut from the same plank as the table.

There is somthing perfect about this.
I am not good enough to know what it is
Great Job, I wish i could understand why it is so great.
it seems proportions, finish size, wood are all just right.
Any way great project

Wow, thank you very much. I made so many mistakes on this project that actually I was disappointed when it was over, but my Wife liked it, so I guess that is all that is important.
thanks again
