Not a great project but, it has some good features for cat lovers and such. A lady who takes stray cats in and other pets wanted a place to give them a little fresh air without letting them out. ( Not llke my neighbors who let their cats use my garden as a litter box). Made out of redwood and chicken wire the little dog door allows the cats out from the bedroom. An access door to clean the place, a shingled roof should do the trick.

You’re too modest Bob. A great looking project and super idea.

Bob,
This is a nice project. Cats need places to climb and love being outdoors. This is just the ticket for them to get outside and be able to climb.
Well done.

This is a great idea…I had a neighbor once who did the same thing out a back wall of the house into a large screened in area…his purpose was also to give the cats some outside time but remain safe from the predators we have here in these north woods.. nice job!

Bob:
You say that this “Not a great project”. You are wrong it is a great project because it fills a need! It is simple and always remember Achem’s Razor “The simplest solution is usually the best”. I will bet that cat lover thinks it is a great project.

Fantastic idea….it’s the best of both worlds. They get to go outside without being able to wander off.

Great Bob! I agree with these guys, you don’t give yourself enough credit. This a a great example of the functional application of the craftsmanship and creativity. I may have to do this for my wife’s favorite person….. our cat.

Bob, that was a great idea! I agree that maybe the plywood should be carpeted, and since my wife is looking over my shoulder, yes dear, I’ll see what I can do…...
