I turn my own line of fishing lures using local Eastern Red Cedar. This style I call a Mud Puppy. It is tail weighted for walk the dog technique. After priming I airbrush the pattern using stencils I create then clear using Envirotex two part epoxy.

The Envirotex has to be turned for 10 hours so I built a spinner to keep the lures moving while the finish sets up.

Thanks Micheal. I have shipped several types of lures to guys up north. Usually muskie fishermen but a snakehead would be great to see taken on one.

Good looking lure—nicely done.

That’s one great looking lure. I have to try one of these. Man spring is right around the corner, can’t wait to go fishing!
