Just an update to my table and chairs – at long last I managed to get some photographs of the completed set.

really nice…that was an amzing amount of hours…but well worth it…do you have any other projects with this customer in other parts of the house???

I did have an other request from him, but they were too expensive for him. He wanted a bed and side tables, but he decided to go with mass produced pine, stained to look like Black walnut – not so nice to look at and will not last that long.

That’s the hardest thing to get across to people. Some of this stuff you get from retail stores isn’t much more then crap. Something you might build for him will still be around for 100 yrs. from now. Something from one of those retail stores might need to be replaced in just a few years. So…pay now, or pay later.
