Fantastic box! Like the beautiful shape and finish specially the design on the pivoting lid.

I didn’t drill all the way through my lid. I cut the middle and bottom from ¾ inch cherry. But cut the lid from a different ¼ inch piece of cherry left over from another project. I liked the grain better, and it made the box a little thicker.
