Greetings and salutations fellow Lumberjocks!
Here’s another little carving I finished up just recently. If you haven’t already guessed it is a rocket ship/space ship. Whatever you’d like to call it. It’s made from basswood and I made it for my six year old. He thinks “it’s really cool!” I do plan on finishing it up with some sanding and paint. I would like to use non-toxic materials so I’m looking for some suggestions. Any tips/pointers/suggestions and the like are appreciated. Thanks!

If the 6 year old thinks it’s cool, then nothing we say can mean any more.

Good job.

#3 posted 02-20-2013 02:10 PM I have never used this product personally but I know somebody who swears by it for his handmade childrens toys. Otherwise, look for low VOC non-toxic paints, there are many child friendly paints available out there.

Have your say...
