Trophy for what?

I was commissioned by our local club to make 54 trophies for an upcoming regional event. Can you guess the sport based on the trophy?

ANSWER: Disc Golf
Good job Glen. You must be a DGer.

The photos below show the disc and basket used in the sport. The rules are the same as ball golf. On the course, each basket has the hole number on the top, called a “coin,” thus the penny on the trophy basket for the year 2008. Our club is hosting the Southern National Disc Golf Doubles Championship in July.

The blue disc in the center of the trophy is a disc “ball” marker.

A very fun and great exercise sport. There’s a course near you!
