I heard about the recall for Craftsman radial arm saws here on LG. I followed the process and recieved the updated blade guards and much needed new table.

I have wanted to build a new table top on my stainless table to match the heigth of the RAS. The new RAS table gave me the push I needed to do it.

First I peformed the recall as instructed, installed the new saw table and then built up the top on the SS cabinet to match the RAS table.

Part of the recall was to go through all the adjustments to true up the saw.

It is nice to have a 14 foot long X 3 foot wide level table to work with. The old saw works better than ever.

Work safe…........

Thanks for looking

Looks good! I saw a CraigsList ad last week where the guy was selling his RAS. In the comments he pointed out that he had just paid to have the “UPDATED” safety features and a new table surface added so you’ll know you’re getting a safe running saw!
LOL
