On someday one of my son find in web picture of wooden hydro. Asked me to build nice boat to have fun on water. it’s took 1.5 year (constraction is only 6 months due to long winter in Russia).
Materials – birch plywood, makore wood, marine varnish, marine hardware from NY.

The boat looks wonderful. You did a great job in the construction and the finish is really nice. The kids will have a great time in that boat. Thanks for posting.

Real Nice job. Your kids will love it. I had one of those as a kid and I lived to drive that thing.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. That boat looks great and you did a fine job on it. It’s obvious that the two youngsters love the boat. Congratulations.

Thanks gents for comments! On last summer when I just park car to home and kids ask me to put trailer to hitch and they spend hours on river. I highly recomend to this project if you have teenagers in family. So much fun from few sheets of playwood!

Welcome to JL’s. You’ve done a fine job on his little vessel.
I’ve built lots of boats but I think your very first will be faster than any of mine.
You have some lucky kids there.

Great looking boat. Sure beats a store bought one and the kids will treasure it for life and maybe grand kids too.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. You are now a part of the greatest group of global woodworkers ever assembled, at least that is what I think. Your talent and skills are a welcome addition to the group.
You are a great dad and an excellent boat builder.
