Shaker styled clock. Solid walnut, paper clock face, inexpensive quartz clock movment, rare earth magnets to hold doors shut. and a Danish Oil finish toped with paste wax. Both the door panel and glass are held in place by a frame joined by traditional mortise & tenon joinery. Clock design was from Norm Abrams’ NYW, but it’s identical to a bizillion others out there. I’m thinking about putting some small hooks in the lower compartment for keys, etc.
