My daughter asked for a small set of shelves to hang on the wall near her door. She sketched something like what I made for her. A french cleat makes for a strong mount. 3/4” oak ply for the case; 1/4” oak ply back; red oak trim on the front; 1/2 white oak top; finished with a few coats of danish oil.
