I try to show the process of gilding of this italian style sette which has made of beech wood by one of my friends who is really skillful. and i try to show the differences which that black patina has made in its color . the top of side tables have polished in wine stain by myself as well as the whole gilding. I like to hear your ideas about this project.

I absolutely LOVE the colors you got on the first picture, gold is okay but quite boring to me, it always looks the same. But as always both the carver and you have an awesome talent! Is this going to be a retirement gift for the pope? ;)

thanx for comments. this settee last week went to its destination which is an ordinary -but allitle rich- customer who lives here in Tehran. its price became arround 7000 US dollars.
