My Wife saw this at one of the big box stores and had to have one. They wanted $80-$150 depending on the size.
This one was made entirely from scraps except I had to buy a new can of primer and paint, about $9.
It holds 14 4”x 6” prints, they just slide into a saw kerf in the molding strips.
It is approximately 14” x 40”.
Painted with shellac based primer and flat black spray paint.
The back is a hardboard bead-board that comes pre-primed that was left over from my daughters bedroom remodel, all trim moldings were made on the router table from scraps of alder or soft maple that I had salvaged from a local cabinet shop.
Now my Wife says this is going to go to her mom for her birth day, and that she wants me to make several more for her.
She’s killing me this much ( ) at a time;)

The snapshots are some custom leather work that I have done and a Mule Deer Expo/ Taxidermy show I helped with.

This is gorgeous! Really great idea. How many hours do you think you had in it? Did you create the profile on the pic rails or was that existing already?

Jaysen,
I have about 3-4 hours in it. I was designing it as I went from memory of what I had seen. I made all profiles on my router table.
