Finally got back out to the shop last night. Pretty frigid even with the heater running full bore! Managed to get some slimlines turned. First pic is a segment piece. Second pen is made from pine. Third pen is another segment one. Not sure what wood the fourth pen is made from. The fifth pen was just me practicing with a parting tool. So far I’ve only ever used a roughing gouge and finishing tool.

All pens are finished with Hut Crystal Friction polish. I LOVE that stuff, no need for CA application either!

wow really nice pens!I really like the pens with the big turned part,its nice to see different takes on pens. Great job!!!

Fourth pen maybe is red oak, just guessing by the color and grain. Nice work the segmented pens are very unique.
