Bandsaw Box from different wood

When I had a chance to use a bandsaw in friends workshop on short notice, I didnt have time to get any good material, so I gathered up random pieces of wood, clued it together and gave it a try. Result came out abit rough perhaps, but not too bad I think for first try. Finisher used is linseed oil.

Your random pieces of wood turned out really well! If theres anything rough you can’t see it in the pics! Looks great. I just made my first one as well, good way to spend a little time on the bandsaw

Looks like the pattern from Steve Ramsey’s band saw box video on You Tube. looks great.

Box idea is from Steve Ramsey’s video, but outline and shape is completely freehand. I think most of my woodworking interest is due to Steve’s video’s :)
