Very nice. It is always satisfying to to come up with a use for scraps and i would say that is a very nice use for them.

Another reason not to throw anything away. I will show this to my wife when she complains about my wood addiction. I really like the addition of the plywood in there. Very contemporary!

My scraps aren’t usually this big, but seeing your project reminds me that I have a lot of cutting boards and pen sets to make.
