I was building a few accessories for my son’s new apartment. He is a musician so I wanted to use a musical theme where I could. The shape came from enlarging a picture of a pick on the computer and printing it out. It has a tenon on the bottom which is let into a groove for support. The base is about 6” wide.

The base is Zebrano, the pick is Padauk, Yellowheart and ebony, all left over materials.

That is very clever. I think it will be appreciated.

Nice werk. I like the difference woods. I said when I saw it before I read the caption that looks like a guitar pick. I play bass so don’t use a pick but my little pickin group uses a lot of them.
