Hello LJs,

I’ve been reading the top 15 everyday for a while now and I like all the great ideas I see, so I decided to join the community and share. This is my first project to post, so I thought I’d keep it simple. The wife wanted a bench to go in a large flowerbed, so I googled around and found some inspiration(wish I could find the link to give credit). There are quite a few things I would have done different in hindsight, like chamfering the joint lines and reinforcing the legs better, but I am mostly happy with the result. The entire project was made from 1×4 cedar planks and pocket holes with the exception of a few finish nails in the legs. That was nice, because I didn’t have a workshop set up at all at the time. Its been holding up outside for a year or so now. I have a few projects in the works now, so I’ll post them as I finish!

A few now leads to a lot more later. Good job on this. Looking forward to even more of your projects.
