Hello l.j.s
this is box made from scraps laying around
box is from poplar with an ash top with 1/4 inch walnut trim. top made with hidden miter cut…
inside is a styrofoam bottom covered by felt
measures 7.5 by7.5 by 6
minwax stain , sealer and clear poly

Looks good brother. I like how you did the bottom of the box. It adds a nice detail to it. Good job.

What a gorgeous grain. Amazing how good scraps can turn out. I like it.

Nice box. Are you sure about the Poplar for thje box? Looks like Oak or Ash to me.
