Work in the shop ground to a halt while I remodeled the kitchen, but now it’s resumed and this is the first thing rolling off the bench.

It’s an Arts and Crafts end table (“you never make anything for our house”, I am sure that’s a refrain familiar in these parts). Made out of Red Oak and nearing completion.

And now it’s complete and well received by the wife. Looks like I will be able to bring in those Veritas spokeshaves from the truck ;)

That is a fine looking table, mortises all tight and aprons looking good, I’d say you got an A+ on this project. mike

What type of stain (if any) did you use on the top? I hope you use the same for the rest of the table. It is appropriate to the style and looks great. As always, bbqKing
